We're hiring for one of the most important roles in our company, and we're going to be picky. Take your time. Be honest. Skip the polish.

This application is intentionally thorough. We'd rather spend 30 minutes reading a great

application than 30 days finding out we hired the wrong person (I think you'd rather this as well!). Plan for about 30–45 minutes to complete it well. If you rush it, it'll show - and we'll move on to the next applicant.

A note on honesty: The single most important thing to us in this process is transparency. If you've never used a tool, say so. If a value would be a stretch for you, tell us. If you're between a 6 and a 7 on a skill, pick the 6. We'd rather hire someone who's honest about a gap and willing to grow than someone who oversells and underdelivers. We will find out either way and it won't be a win-win for either of us.

The only people who get burned by being honest with us are the ones trying to fake it. Spending extra time on an application for a role/company you that actually excites you and is a great fit is more important than the "shotgun approach".

About The Concrete Marketers

We're a US-based marketing agency working exclusively with concrete and coating contractors. Over the last several years, we've built lead generation systems for more than 300 contractors across the country. We run SEO, Google Business Profile, paid ads, websites, social media, and complete marketing systems for our clients, and we're the most niche-specialized marketing operation for concrete contractors in the country. We need a Project Manager who can scale our delivery without dropping the quality bar.

What the Hiring Process Looks Like

This role is too important for us to rush. Here's what to expect after you submit:

Step 1 — Application Review (3–7 days). We read every application personally. If you make the first cut, we'll reach out.

Step 2 — First Interview (30–45 min). A conversation with our hiring lead to dig into your experience, your AI work, and your fit with the role.

Step 3 — Skills & Scenario Interview (45–60 min). We'll go deeper on SEO, agency operations, and how you'd handle real situations from our day-to-day. Possibly a small take-home or live exercise if we deem it neccesary.

Step 4 — Panel Interview with Our CEO. The final step. You'll meet our CEO and the team members from the first two interviews. This is where culture fit gets decided. If you make it here, we're very seriously considering you.

Step 5 — Reference Checks. We conduct reference checks for finalists to understand how candidates have shown up in past roles.

Step 5 — Offer & 60 Day Paid Trial. If we move forward, you start on a paid trial. This isn't a probation in disguise — it's a real twoway evaluation. You're checking us out as much as we're checking you out.

The whole process typically takes 2–4 weeks from application to offer.
